Quiche Lorraine
Serves 8

1 9-in pastry shell, chill 1 hour
8 strips bacon
1/2 - 3/4 cup Swiss cheese, diced
1/2 cup ham, diced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
4 eggs

Fry bacon until crisp. Drain and crush into pastry shell. Sprinkle ham and cheese over bacon. Blend cream, spices and eggs. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 45 minutes until knife inserted into center of quiche comes out clean.
